sitre was born in Denmark out of a need for a more honest, inclusive and caring take on intimacy, telling stories and making products for all sexualities, ages, genders, bodies.

we are cecilie hjelmager and julie herskin, the two founders behind sitre. it all started because julie needed to use lubricant. both her and her partner felt shameful about it and the products on the market didn't help. they either felt vulgar or like medicine (which only underlined the feeling of her body not working) and most were full of bad quality ingredients.

cecilie on the other hand had never tried to use lubricant before "because she didn't need it". but she had been on a journey where she had discovered how intimacy can do much good it can do for both our minds and bodies.

today cecilie knows that sex wellness products aren't just for people who need them - they help to elevate and enhance every intimate moment.

since we couldn't find any products that had a much-needed honest, relatable and mindful take on sexiness, we decided it was time to give the industry an update.

we work with the leading experts in denmark to develop intimacy essentials that elevate the moments while caring for the skin because of nourishing, supportive and clean ingredients. they make intimacy feel like wellness.

our intimacy products are produced in europe, allergy-friendly, vegan, pH-balanced, dermatologically and without any toxic ingredients such as glycerin, perfume or parabens.

our bottles are made from recycled plastic and our packaging and sizzle pack are FSC-certified.
